News Flash

The Norwood Public Works Department has been working since 9pm on 12/22 to try to clear the roadways. This sudden flash freeze has caused some issues since salt will only work with temperatures above 20 degrees. This is especially true during nighttime hours. This, coupled with the inability to pre-treat in any effectual way due to the rain that preceded the snow/freeze, has made things very difficult for our road crews to manage. We ask for your patience and understanding as we continue our efforts, as the road conditions may not improve dramatically over the Holidays. We urge you to be careful, and only travel if necessary.
