The City of Norwood's street resurfacing project in the Indian Mound, Parmalee, Sheridan and Wakefield areas will be proceeding to the milling phase starting next week. It is projected to start on Tuesday, June 8th and run through Saturday, June 12th though this timeline could be affected by adverse weather. During this phase, the existing asphalt will be milled off and a leveling course will be put down. This will be a rough finish, base leveling course that will be below the existing utility lids and covers. The crews will then come through and adjust those lids to the proper height, before the second and final finishing course is applied at a later date. There will be multiple and ongoing street parking restrictions as we work through this phase. We ask for your patience and cooperation as we work to make these vital improvements to our City infrastructure.
